Naksalite is a Shopify app that helps merchants understand where their customers and orders are located by visualizing order data on an interactive global map. We take your privacy—and your customers’ privacy—seriously.

1. What we see and why we see it

When you install Naksalite on your Shopify store, we access only the data required to provide the mapping and analytics features of the app. This typically includes:

  • Order information (such as order IDs, line items, tags, totals, and timestamps).
  • Customer and shipping location details (such as city, region, country, and postal code).
  • Basic store-level metadata provided by Shopify.

We use this information only to generate and display interactive maps, filters, and summaries inside the app and to improve the reliability and performance of the product.

2. How we process your data

We do not resell, rent, or trade your store’s data or your customers’ information. Data is processed to:

  • Render interactive order and customer maps by location and time.
  • Provide filters by product, tag, date, and geography.
  • Generate derived statistics such as counts per city, region, or country.
  • Maintain logs and diagnostics necessary to keep the service secure and stable.

3. Data retention

We retain store data only for as long as your store is connected to Naksalite and as needed to provide the app’s features. When you uninstall the app or request deletion, we remove or anonymize associated records within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligations we must follow.

4. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect store and customer data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. While no system can guarantee perfect security, we design Naksalite to minimize the amount of data we handle and to limit access to those who need it to operate the app.

5. Your choices and rights

As a merchant, you control whether Naksalite can access your Shopify store. You can uninstall the app at any time. If you would like to request deletion of stored data related to your shop, contact us using the details below and we will honor your request subject to our legal and contractual obligations.

6. Third-party services

Naksalite operates within the Shopify ecosystem and may rely on Shopify’s APIs and infrastructure. Your use of the app is also subject to Shopify’s terms of service and privacy policy.
