Privacy & data

What customer data does Naksalite see?

Only what's needed to put orders on a map: order IDs, totals, timestamps, line items, tags, and the shipping city/region/country. We do not read emails, phone numbers, or payment details.

Do you sell or share customer data?

No — never. We do not sell, rent, or trade your customer data. We do not use your data to train third-party models. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Where is my data stored?

In encrypted databases in US regions. All traffic is TLS 1.2+. We retain data only for as long as your store is connected.

What happens when I uninstall?

We honor Shopify's shop/redact webhook: within 48 hours of uninstall we mark your data for deletion, and within 30 days it is permanently removed from our primary and backup systems. See Data Deletion.

Can a customer request their data be deleted?

Yes. Shopify will forward the request to us through the customers/redact webhook, and we'll remove that customer's records within 30 days. You can also contact us directly at support@naksalite.com.

Install & setup

How do I install Naksalite?

Open the Shopify App Store, search "Naksalite", and click Install. You'll be asked to approve the data scopes we need — then your orders sync automatically.

Does Naksalite work with my existing orders?

Yes. On install we sync your full order history (limited to 30 days on Starter, unlimited on Pro/Scale) and keep it up to date in real time as new orders come in.

Do I need to install a theme block or code snippet?

No. Naksalite is an admin-only app — there are no changes to your storefront theme, checkout, or customer-facing pages.

Which Shopify plans does Naksalite support?

All Shopify plans, including Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Shopify Plus. We use the standard Shopify Admin API.

Features & usage

Can I filter by product, tag, or campaign?

Yes, on Pro and Scale. Filters are persistent across the three views (points, heatmap, regions) so you can slice without losing your place.

Can I export the map?

Yes, on the Pro plan. Use the lasso tool to draw any shape on the map and export the customers inside as a CSV — ready to upload to Meta or Google as a custom audience for geo-targeted retargeting.

Is there a Shopify POS or mobile version?

Naksalite is optimized for the Shopify admin on desktop, tablet, and phone. POS is on our roadmap.

What's the ad spend / ROAS overlay?

Coming soon on Pro. Connect your Meta and Google ad accounts and see your ROAS laid over the same map — so you can spot regions where you're overspending or under-investing.

Billing

What are the plans?

Free (today + last 7 days), Growth ($15/mo — up to 90 days + custom ranges), and Pro ($25/mo — full history + CSV export + ad spend overlay). See Pricing for the full comparison.

How is Naksalite billed?

Through Shopify's standard app billing — charges appear on your Shopify invoice, not as a separate bill from us.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — both Growth and Pro include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, you'll stay on the plan you picked or drop back to Free.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Uninstall Naksalite from your Shopify admin and billing stops at the end of the current period.
