Data Access & Deletion

Request a copy of — or the deletion of — data Naksalite holds about your store or customers. We respond within 30 days; usually much faster.

The fast path: uninstall the app

For most deletion requests, uninstalling Naksalite from your Shopify admin is all you need to do. Shopify will send us a shop/redact webhook, and we'll permanently delete your shop's data within 30 days.

Use this form if you're a merchant, a customer whose order information passed through Naksalite, or a legal representative acting on behalf of one. We'll verify identity before fulfilling sensitive requests.

We use this to locate the records. If you're requesting customer deletion, include the customer's email.

We may ask for additional verification before acting on requests involving third-party data.

What we do when you ask for deletion

  1. We acknowledge the request by email within 5 business days.
  2. For sensitive requests, we verify you have the right to make it.
  3. We remove the matching records from our production database within 30 days.
  4. Encrypted backups are overwritten on our regular 30-day rotation, after which no trace remains.
  5. We confirm in writing once the deletion is complete.
